DENR Biodiversity Management Bureau
The DENR Biodiversity Management Bureau is mandated to establish and manage protected areas, conserve wildlife, promote and institutionalize ecotourism, manage coastal biodiversity and wetlands ecosystems, conserve caves and cave resources, promote information and education on biodiversity and nature conservation, manage the Ninoy Aquino Parks and Wildlife Center, and negotiate biodiversity-related Multilateral Environmental Agreements and Monitoring National Implementation.

The Climate Change Service oversees the establishment and maintenance of a climate change information and management system and network given to the DENR by the Climate Change Act (RA 9729), which includes climate change risks, activities, and investments (Section 15), National Framework Strategy for Climate Change and National Climate Change Action Plan among others.

The National Home Mortgage Finance Corporation (NHMFC) is a government-owned and controlled corporation organized and existing under Presidential Decree No. 1267 with the mandate of increasing the availability of affordable housing loans to finance Filipino homebuyers on their acquisition of housing units through the development and operation of a secondary market for home mortgages.

Social Housing Finance Corporation (SHFC) is an attached agency under the Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development. It is mandated to develop and implement social housing programs that cater to the low-income families in both the formal and informal sectors, with the goal of providing security of tenure and creating resilient and sustainable communities. SHFC is the lead implementor of the Pambansang Pabahay Para sa Pilipino Housing Program or 4PH.
