Description of the training:

The training will focus on the practical techniques and strategies on identifying, developing, prioritizing, structuring, and packaging/pitching projects for proposal development. It will also delve on integrating climate resilience in project planning and proposal development, as well as how to consider Public-Private Partnership modality as an alternative option for procuring urban development projects.

Objectives

At the end of the training, the participants should be able to:
  • Learn about the elements of an effective project proposal such as steps on identifying, developing, prioritizing, structuring, and packaging/pitching projects for proposal development;
  • Gain practical skills and knowledge on integrating climate resilience in project planning and proposal development; and
  • Acquire information on the best practices, key features, requirements, and considerations in implementing LGU projects under Public-Private Partnership (PPP) modality for urban development projects.

Expected Outcomes/Outputs

The participants will gain the following knowledge and skills:
